A Little Too Creepy for Christmas

So, I know that this will set some of the internet fanatics ablaze, but I watched a low-altitude drone just hover over my neighborhood at one o'clock in the morning.  At first I thought it was just a low flying plane, but it was moving entirely too slow, and as I drove down the road more, its point of rotation in relation to me was way too low to the ground to be a proper plane.  Whoever was flying that, really?  Its Christmas time.

Opposite Effect

So, as I'm standing watching my place of employment getting liquidated, and facing the harsh reality of losing my job, I'm struck by irony that the further along in the liquidation we get, the more people steal.  I mean, really, everything is getting cheaper.  It's easier to afford.  If people really stole because they couldn't afford it, wouldn't theft go down when things got cheaper?  But no, the cheaper things get, the more we lose in theft.
